The amount of juice we get per kilo of grapes, or ‘extraction rate’ is pretty low for Bucketwine as fruit is pressed by hand.  In vintage 2014 we have acquired a small manual basket press which will make this process a bit easier and more fruitful, while still retaining the ‘hand-made’ feel.
